Awareness Training for Schools, Colleges, Universities and the Community.
Prevention is better than cure. We offer talks, awareness training, counselling for students and staff and school workshops. Very often tell tale signs are ignored, dismissed or unrecognised especially by the young. Awareness may, and can prevent domestic violence situations arising.

Counselling Services
Counselling is an important part of the recovery period after a person has experienced domestic violence. Professional, specialist counselling is extremely effective for people recovering from domestic violence/abuse. All our counsellors hold a nationally recognised counselling qualification and attend regular professional supervision.
Living in an abusive relationship, especially, if there are children, raises complex and difficult issues. Surviving abuse takes enormous courage and strength and often there is a need for additional and ongoing support.

To leave any relationship can be a huge step. The complicated issues to be considered vary from person to person. Victims of an abusive relationship may and usually do, have an additional need for counselling, before, during and after the decision to break away. Our counselling service offers the bridge needed for this period of transition from victim to survivor. Sessions are non-judgemental, in complete confidence and work at the clients own pace.
