The Zero Centre (Merseyside) opened in
April 1999 as a drop-in service for abused women and children. By 2001 we had
achieved charitable status and the Community Legal Service quality mark. ![]() The services we provide include: • One–to-One Support • Outreach Support • Legal Advice • Specialist domestic violence counselling • Support Groups • Healing Programmes for Children • Empowerment Programmes for Women • Domestic Abuse Training for Agencies • Consultancy The centre relies on funding and charitable donations to survive. The development of this new social enterprise offering training and consultancy will allow the Centre to generate income and therefore continue to offer a free service to residents of Wirral, and a wider geographical area. |
